Well, it’s November. That’s wild news to me, but I can’t say I’m not excited, mainly the coming of November means Christmas is right around the corner (srry, thxgiving). My November is already incredibly busy with school work, work, and blogger business. Speaking of which, you might notice that my blog is a little bare. That is no surprise if you follow me on Instagram, but if not, more on that soon.
This November, I’m excited to really hone in on what’s important to my being and what makes me me. I don’t want to wait until the new year to better myself; I think it’s good to start a bit earlier identifying the aspects you want to perfect and those you want to change. That way, when the new year comes, you’re ready to slide into position. Next year is going to present a lot of new things in my life (hello, Australia!), and I want to be as stable as possible.
November also brings in some new favorites! Obviously, I’ve been loving fall scents lately, and while I love a good candle, a room spray is another great option for when I don’t want to burn a candle for a short period of time or when I’m in and out of my room. For those of you in campus housing that doesn’t allow candles (like mine technically??), it’s a great alternative! I’ve been using Pecksniff’s England Pecan and Pumpkinseed spray.
I have also been loving fall body scents. When the weather gets colder, I find that my skin needs a little more than a regular lotion, so I’ve been opting for shea butter instead. It’s thick enough to withstand the cold without feeling heavy. My favorite at the moment is L’Occitane’s Apricot shea butter from their collaboration with Rifle Paper Co.
Finally, I came across a really cool brand called BootayBag that really intrigued me. For $12 a month, you can get two pairs of underwear sent to you. I chose a mixed bag with a thong and a pair of briefs, but you can also choose one or the other. This month’s underwear are red and white and great for fall. I’m so, so happy to be collaborating with BootayBag on this post!
What things are you looking forward to this November? Let me know in the comments below! Also, be looking out for my relaunch (and actual explanation for where my content went). See you all (very) very soon!
